The growth of world aquaculture and the need to preserve natural marine resources require making changes to the composition of feeds for farmed fish towards more sustainable formulas (plants, insects…).

About the <strong>project </strong>
The project wishes to propose an alternative to imported fishmeal, which is available in limited quantities and has a strong impact on the environment and wild fish stocks. The project is part of an environmental transition issue and aims at building and optimizing a pilot production unit for insect meal, validating the nutritional properties of this meal on farmed fish, and securing intellectual property.
