Context
Aquaponics is the combination of vegetable cultivation and fish farming in the same system. In France and Belgium, the development of this concept faces many challenges, requiring innovation.
Objective
Facilitating the development of aquaponics, by developing tools accessible to all.
About the <strong>project </strong>
Initially, the project wishes to develop three digital tools: an e-learning tool, composed of an educational game and theoretical course modules, a design tool to compose virtual aquaponic systems and perform simulations, and a monitoring tool, working with sensors, to follow the parameters of an aquaponic system. In a second step, the project partners wish to publish an aquaponics guide composed of theoretical course modules and concrete examples.
