FISHAVNIR
Awareness and support programme for companies in the aquatic products sector in an ecodesign / LCA approach. Structuring stage
Context
Sustainable development is everyone’s business and the scale of the task requires a general awareness. Moving towards sustainable development requires us to change our production and consumption patterns. Consumers and businesses have a common responsibility in this respect and the role of the latter is inescapable.
Objective
Developing an awareness and support programme for companies in the aquatic products sector in an ecodesign / LCA approach. Structuring stage.
About the <strong>project </strong>
The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) allows us to carry out a multi-criteria and multi-stage environmental assessment of a system over its entire life cycle. This method meets various needs, in particular the need for companies in the aquatic products sector to integrate an ecodesign approach. For the partners of the FISHAVNIR project, it seems essential to deploy an action of collective interest aiming at analyzing the aquatic products sector in terms of LCA and sustainable development according to four phases: monitoring, maturity of the sector, identification of needs, designing an action plan. The FISHAVNIR study responds to this observation.
