Union du Mareyage Français (UMF)

The Union du Mareyage Français (UMF) federates 14 local trade unions and professional groups spread along the metropolitan maritime frontiers. It operates as a network.

The FMU’s mission is to:

• To represent and promote the interests of the fish wholesalers to the public authorities and partners in the sector,
• Facilitate social dialogue with a view to modernising the national collective agreement for shippers and forwarders.
• Federate and pilot collective actions to support companies in their development.

The UMF Board of Directors, which includes all the presidents of the local unions and groups, meets every two months.
