Hauts-de-France region

The Hauts-de-France region was born on 1 January 2016 from the merger of the Nord – Pas-de-Calais and Picardie regions. With its 5 departments, the region has more than 6 million inhabitants and is thus the third largest region in France.

The Hauts-de-France Region is the youngest in France. It is located in the heart of a triangle Paris-London-Brussels, and represents a great opportunity for all the inhabitants of the north of France. This new territory, which shares a common, rich, and eventful history that no geographical border separates, and which has seen the birth of outstanding personalities, has many assets.
